Diane (Bergstrom) Benoit

Born in Tacoma, WA August 13, 1958 to Dave and Darlene Bergstrom.  A woman of strong faith, Diane passed away peacefully, to be with the Lord, on August 27th 2016.  She is survived by her loving husband Don of 28 yrs; and their beloved children, Sarah, Alex (Rachel) and Emily;  Diane’s father, Dave; and brother, Dan (Kim) and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her loving mother Darlene.

Diane grew up in Gig Harbor WA., graduated from Peninsula High, attended Bates Dental Assisting Program and worked in dental practice management.  She loved camping, family activities, and shopping with friends but, her true passion was helping others.  She was well known and well loved by all.  She leaves behind a multitude of dear friends and devoted patients who will miss her positive attitude, bubbly personality and wonderful sense of humor. 

Diane was an inspiration to many as she bravely waged a long battle with cancer.  She and her family are extremely grateful for the loving care and support they received from extended family, friends and countless members of the medical community. 

Celebration of life will be held at Harbor Covenant Church, 5601 Gustafson Dr. NW, Gig Harbor, WA on Tuesday, September 13th at 6:00PM. While on this page, please  light a candle, sign her guest book or leave condolences for the family. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
