Bill and I were very sad to learn of Victor's death earlier this month. We all met 70 years ago at 13 in the eighth grade at Central Grammar School and enjoyed a wonderful year together in classrooms, sports and parties. Bill, Victor and I especially liked the 12 cent Saturday morning movie at the Uptown Theater. There was always a newsreel, a serial and a cowboy and indian film. Our lives diverged a bit after we entered Morse High School with so many more students in our midst. Victor was a faithful member of the class of 1952 and we were all pleased when he and Joan came back east for our 50th reunion. Victor and Joan also gave us a warm welcome when Bill and I traveled to Alaska 20+ years ago and vacationed in his beautiful town of Glacier Bay. Rest in peace, Victor. We will miss you.

We are so sorry that we never got to meet Victor in real life. But we have enjoyed keeping in touch with you. My father was so proud and looked forward to your Christmas wishes every year. I am sure the two you will finally meet on the other side. <3
Victors father Sven left Sweden before Victor and his cousins were born. We are so happy that Victor and my father Börje found each other again in the 70ths and kept contact ever since. We are glad you made it possible for us to get in touch with the rest of the family I the US. Thank you, Victor, for making it possible for us to meet your son Rick with family and your sister Anna and her family here in Sweden.
