Dear Carol,
My heart aches for Art’s passing, and for your great loss. Art was such a kind and loving man, and what a wry sense of humor he had! I recall how often he teased me, usually getting my goat. More than anything, I remember with great fondness the many good times I have had with you and Art over the course of 40 plus years. You have both been so loving to me, and always have made me feel like “family.”
I am so terribly sorry I could not be at Art’s Memorial today, to pay my respects to him and personally to offer my deep, deep sympathy to you, Carol. Please know that you have been and are constantly in my thoughts and in my prayers.
