I hope you find comfort from a thought from the Bible, the hope of seeing your loved ones again and being with them on a paradise earth forever, Ps. 37: 10, 11 & 29.

I wrote the following as an affirmation after Dad's passing.
For ten thousand years we've trod upon this rock and for ten thousand years we have died.
Tis a natural part of our short life that always leaves us in shock
In a billion graves is written this fact, men live, then they die
Yet in our hearts hear Salvations Rock sing the anthem of raising from graves
He came, He saw and conquered death to plant in our hearts the seed
Know my Dad that as you push past that shock, He'll restore life, and be pleased

My Two Father's
In my life I have been blessed with two Fathers. I have learned much from these two men and for that I am grateful.
My first Father Charles Edward Worthy Sr taught me to be a man of direction and purpose. Courage, fortitude and perseverance he taught me and willed a relentless work ethic into my being. He was a man's man and hero in war saving many lives on the field of battle and in the operating room where his skill and dedication we're manifest. He is the source of my hunger for excellence and desire to make a difference in the world.
My second Father is Earl Victor Benson, a man of kindness, compassion, forgiveness and love. This was a man that loved and extended love to everyone he met. His capacity to give of himself was endless as was his desire to help in anyway possible. He never spoke a word in anger to me but instead provided a word of love, understanding and patience.
So all in all I have these two Father's that have taught me many things. May I reflect their souls in my life.
