Honey, you said that I wouldn't miss you, but I have missed you each and every single day since you have been gone. You are in my thoughts always. I say goodnight to you each night and good morning to you each day I awake from sleep. I walked on the beach down by the fishing pier the other day and reminisced about our last walk on the beach. Remember the tide coming in fast after we had ventured off for awhile down the beach toward the bridge? You got a little scared that we were not going to make it back, but we did. You also enjoy seeing the beach wedding taking place at a beautiful home on the Sound. Sweetheart there is a special place in my heart for you and it will always be yours. Love you

How we enjoyed day trips with our kiddos in tow, when Regan was in school ... to the science center, the park, the beach. And then, Evan's and my friendship grew as we shared a passion for creating ... Evan was one who expanded my creative boundaries. Me, sometimes reluctantly. Well, many times. In preparation for a European trip soon, I picked up a hand-made journal at Pike Place Market. So like something Evan would take with her. For words. For sketches. For inspiration.
