He was a wonderful man!
I remember coming to your house in Purdy to play and spend the night, He was always comforting to be around!

I am saddened of Gordys departure. He was a dad to me to look up to as a Honest hard working guy. His 56 hawk, 62 green truck, 62 skytop, all beautiful. He was a master working for Temple Moters in footsteps with his dad. Heard many stories over a beer at the float. His Ford truck always perfect. I still have tools he gave me used one today and thought about Gordy. Wil never forget him he is a mentor for me. Always honest and fair. I sold him his last Studebaker an Avanti which he enjoyed I was happy to help him paint it my last one in the Gig Harbor garage, Had too much water in lines he said F it paint it then lets go to float. Will be missed daily but will be remebered till I die with his specialty Studebaker tools. Thanks to Barbera for helping him be happy he loved you emensly. He told me that many times in the garage. Hate to goodbye to Gordy makes me tear up but he will never be forgotton as long as I live. He was a special guy and always will be. Gary Johnson
