Oh how very missed you will be. I have such fond memories of you and your quiet strength. "The Kenner" - thank you for the gift of your daughter. Peace and blessings.

Time now to honor the life and legacy of my beloved grandfather, Ken.

I will deeply miss our chats about shared interests in politics and history; love of animals and nature (we always did agree that we liked animals better than people); and pride in our Scandinavian heritage. Despite our very different upbringings and world views, we had a mutual understanding and respect for one another that I will always treasure. It also helped that we shared similarly sharp and sarcastic senses of humor and a general aversion to nonesense. At the end of the day, we just got each other.

I love you, Besa! I will miss your bear hugs
and kiss on the cheek whenever I would arrive at or leave your house. Thanks for all the walks in the woods; trips to Kopachuck state park, the beach, and Northwest Trek; and good chats over coffee and cake. Even though I’m not a huge fan of country music, I’ll always make sure to put on some of “that cow jazz” on for you once in a while.

My visits home will never be the same without you; I’ll always carry you in my heart.

Until we meet again— Tassja

So many wonderful memories my Uncle Ken has made for me! I will always remember his gracious smile and welcoming hug whenever I had the opportunity to visit with him.
He has had many years to share with many people throughout his life, and now it's our turn to remember him for those years with a warm thought and a smile...may he rest in peace. Love you Uncle Ken! ~ Karin
