Lois Ann Reed

Born February 11, 1933, Gloucester MA and went to Heaven November 18, 2016, Gig Harbor WA. Preceded by her husband Sterlin Reed of Gloucester, she also joins her parents Clinton and Mabel Foster both of Gloucester. She is survived by her son Dana (Rosanne) and their children Rebecca, Christopher, Kathryn, and Nicholas of San Jose CA; son Doug (Kari) and their children Alexis and Hope of Vernal Utah; daughter Karen Wright (Steve) and her child Elliot Autuchovich (Alexis) of Gig Harbor. Preceded by her brother Charles Foster (Marilyn) of Gloucester; nephews David and Peter Foster; and nieces Sheryl Foster-Dardas and Susan Aaron of Gloucester.

Lois lived a rich and full life as witnessed by everyone with which she came into contact. Clearly no grass grew beneath her feet. Her sense of adventure and her love for travel took her all over the world including trips to Europe, Iceland, and Hawaii. Her love for the outdoors and especially her love for the water was evident in her home and in her heart.

She is remembered for her boundless optimism, energy, and independent spirit. She had immense love for all of her family and her friends. She leaves us with the comfort that she was at peace.

A celebration of Life will be held on December 4, 2016 at 1:00pm at Harbor Christian Center which meets at the Boys and Girls Club 8502 Skansie Ave, Gig Harbor, WA 98332
