I played a lot of tennis with Ross and I mean an awful lot of tennis. I've had dinner at his home, attended ball games with him, joined him for coffee many times. We were both graduates of U.P.S. and I taught school in Raymond with his mother. I consider him to have been one of my very best friends and I'll miss him.

My sincere sympathy to you Dee, Steffan, Carol and the rest of your family for the loss of Ross. He will always be remembered by me and especially my travel agents at Prestige Travel because he would arrive often with coffee in hand to chat with everyone.
He was a soft spoken intellectual man with an appreciation for travel. I know he will truly be missed.
Sincerely,
Sharon Reinking

A quarter century after my own parents passed away, I still dream about them more nights than not. I’m never completely sure what they’re trying to communicate with such earnestness; after all, they’re speaking from another spiritual plane. But I know when I wake that their souls are as vibrant and energetic as when they walked the earth. For I was just with them, yet again.

I met Ross Tolles just once in his son’s office, but I heard a good deal about him from Steffan. And I had the strong impression of his unshakable physical and mental courage and optimism. If everyone, as they pass through life, were guided by such attitudes, this would be a better world.

To those whom it may concern: ( The Ross @ Deloris Tolles Family )
Today 6-21-16 I read about the passing of Ross Tolles of Tacoma, Washington...
At first I was sad, then after thinking saw that a life of 85 years almost 86 that we
Need be blessed by a long life, and an example of humility @ contributions... It
Truly resonates upon others who saw a life of much joy and happiness, hard work
And Wimbledon. To a man who I used to see at Pine Cone cafe near home @ a smile.
As a person who is humbled by life, may God grant his family-solitude @ pride.
May God rest his soul, and grant his family much joy of memories..sincerely, Mike

We've all had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at Isaiah 25: 8 and it tells us: "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."
