I had the pleasure and honor of knowing Stephanie from the time we were kids until her untimely passing. My heart breaks for all those who loved her and it is these kind of losses that motivate me to do my work with and for cancer patients. I had hoped that I would never have to use my knowledge for one of my close friends or family members but was privileged to have walked beside her as she fought this disease. She was an inspiration - I never heard her complain, she never gave up even with odds stacked against her, and was always so positive. You and your smile will not be forgotten, Stephanie, and you will always be one of my most cherished patients.

I remember Stephine from my brothers 13 the birthday at our Lake house in 1991 . I remember how shy she was and how kind she was with my younger brother . I send my condolences to all her family especailly husband and her boys I am so sorry . My first tought was shock when I first got notice of it . My prayers are with you Stephine was the best .

There is so much I want to say, but the words don't come very easily. Steph was the most important person in my life for many years. I was truly blessed to have grown up with her. The people she surrounded us with are still some of the most precious friendships I have, and the passage of time hasn't diminished any of it. It's been a long time, but the huge stamp she left on my life will always be there. My heart breaks for her family, close friends, and especially Chris and Kelby. I only hope that the sum of the good times will ease your pain of her loss. Her personality was like a magnet for wonderful people - she was an epicenter of smiles, warmth, friendship and fun. How lucky we all were...

When we were in college, we had this small, tight group. Steph, Rachel, Alex, Gena, Andy, Piha, and myself. You could say we were the three amigos, but there was 7 of us:) We had many fun adventures together, too many to count and frankly too many to remember all of them. But what I remember is our tight bond, all of us. We all had our place and our own personality that fit like a perfect puzzle. Steph's puzzle piece was an easy one to remember; she was the kindest, gentlest of us all. But she had this force about her that brought assurance that we were always in good hands if Steph was leading us. Steph, along with the 5 amigos made college an experience that I look back with the fondest of memories and friends that made one of life's chapters a wonder experience.

It has been many years since I last saw Steph. We were in the sorority together and I have many sweet and cherished memories of late night snacks, comparing notes on classes, life, boys, and the what the future would be. She was an optimistic spirit and a kind soul. Her easy laugh and humor always made me feel welcome in her presence, and I never heard an unkind word or felt anything but love from her.
