Emma was born and raised in Algiers, Algeria. She met Frank, her beloved husband of 63 years, when he was stationed there during WWII. Frank and Emma were married in Burley, Idaho on 09/08/46 and had two daughters, Linda Wyckoff and Yvonne Tschabold who gave them three grandsons, David Beebe (Linda), Wayne and Paul (Yvonne) Tschabold. Emma’s only great-granddaughter is Jordan Tschabold (Wayne & Gena). Emma and her family moved to Washington in the early 1950’s. Emma worked at JC Penney’s for many years; she managed the 88 cent store in downtown Tacoma and then worked as a medical assistant for many years with Multicare until her retirement. She was active in her church joining in choir and Christmas plays. Her home showed her love of family, decorating and shopping. Emma was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
On Saturday, October 10th at 2PM, there will be a Graveside Service for Emma at Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor. A reception will be held at the FPC Family Center, 602 Kincaid Ave, Sumner at 3:30pm following the service. Donations may be made to further research of Alzheimer’s and other dementia disorders.
