Tolin Wesley Hodgell

Tolin W “Nick” Hodgell, 78, was a resident of both Torrington, WY and Gig Harbor, WA where he died Sept 23, 2015. Nick was a career Naval Officer and after retiring from active Navy duty was a small business owner in dry cleaning and coin operated laundry.

He was a member of St Nicholas Catholic Church in Gig Harbor. He was also a member of St Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 4th Degree in Torrington. As well as serving there for over 35 years as a member of the Lions Club. Nick had a passion for travel and with his wife of 51 years saw over 75 countries and most of our nation.

He is survived by his wife Ann and daughters Shannon (Kirk) Larsen, Michelle (Conal) Kelly and Jennifer (Dan) Sivils; and 6 beloved grandchildren.

A time of viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct 4th at Haven of Rest Funeral Home from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Oct 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at St Nicholas Catholic Church followed by Interment at Tahoma National Cemetery where he will be buried in a service with traditional Navy honors.
