Violet June (Weisert) Regan Simmons

Violet June Regan 91, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2016. She was born in Redby, Minnesota on March 5th  1925 to Albert and Hilda Weisert.

The family relocated to Shelton, Washington in 1930, where she spent her childhood. She found and married the love of her life, John Regan, and they were married in 1968. They did a lot of traveling during the time John was in the Navy, including Hawaii, Japan and New Mexico. She loved learning about the new places and trying to cook the dishes of the areas. She had a knack for always finding the silver lining in turmoil. Violet enjoyed gardening, reading, handiwork and spending time with family.

She leaves behind Daughters, Ledine Wilson (Ed) and Cheri Herron; and Son, Raymond Rhines (Karen); a sister Vivian Rhines (Bob); 9 Grandkids, 18 Great Grandkids and 8 Great Great Grandkids.

A celebration of her life will be held on May 7th at 2:00 at the Colby United Methodist Church located at 2881 Harvey St. SE. Port Orchard, WA 98366. Please sign her online guestbook with memories and condolences or light a candle in her name at www.havenrest.com.
