Leonard George Kessel

Leonard George Kessel, 83, entered into eternal peace on July 6, 2016.  Born March 17, 1933 in McKeesport, PA, retired Veteran, avid train enthusiast, and long time Boeing employee.  Always an entertainer, with a good joke, his signature Bavarian hat covered with pins, and his harmonica.  

Beloved husband of Mary Cornelia McCoy and son of Albert George Kessel and Mary Elizabeth Kemerer, brother of Louise Elizabeth Maraffi, loving father of Shawn Albert (Christine) Kessel and Heather Elizabeth (Mike) Lindbo, and dear grandfather of Kole Salatino, Brock Salatino, Emily Joy Kessel and Joshua Kessel.  

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, July 10th, 2016 at Haven of Rest Chapel, Gig Harbor. Please visit his guest book at www.havenrest.com,  leaving stories, condolences for the family and to light a candle in his memory.
