I had the pleasure of meeting Leonard when I would visit my grandparents Bruce and Rosella Todd at Brookdale in Puyallup. He was a very kind man, and my family always enjoyed his stories and him playing his harmonica. My young daughters (11/7/2) really took to him and would often sit with him when we would share meals with my grandparents. They have both passed in the last year and a half, and I am so sad to hear Leonard has now left us as well. I am sure they are all sharing a meal together now somewhere lovely. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am so sad to hear of your father's death. The best part of working for Grassi's was meeting people like you and of course getting the chance to meet your dad. He was always smiling and so charismatic!!! You definitely inherited your personality from him.Please know I am thinking of you today and am enclosing my email. I had the great pleasure to meet Len at his assisted care facility in Puyallup and talked to him on many occasions. He was very friendly and he watched politics and the arts on the TV in the Day Room and loved to talk about them.. One morning in the dining room, Len played his harmonica for a random, visiting, young girl while she danced. He was perfect and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when she gave him a heartfelt, thankful, hug. RIP
