Ray Gene Garner

Ray G. Garner, 80, a Port Orchard resident since 1995, died June 20th, 2015. Ray was a retired police officer and real estate agent. He served Christ as a deacon in Roswell, NM and Port Orchard WA. He was most recently a member of Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor. Ray was also an avid fisherman and gardener. He is an Air Force veteran, serving as a crewmember on the B-47 and B-36 aircraft. He was a career police officer serving in Roswell, NM, Ruidoso, NM, Lincoln County, NM, and as Chief of Police in Ruidoso Dows, NM. Ray retired as a real estate agent in Port Orchard, WA. He was a devoted disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Family members include his wife, Ann E.; sons Larry (Bev), Lubbock, Texas; Trey (Nikki), Snohomish; Eric (Tracy), Gig Harbor, and Daughter Athena (John), Lubbock, Texas; 7 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, as well as several great grandchildren in Texas.

A memorial service will be held at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Gig Harbor at 2:00pm on Friday, June 26th, 2015.
